Partners In Development responds to the needs of schools, villages, women’s groups and individuals in the area of water access and means for generating income based on that access for uses such as farming. The rationale of water projects is that improved access to clean water will result in better health, new agriculture will provide nutrition for families, it will create sustainable income-generating initiatives and thus reduces poverty. It can even increase the education opportunities for women, who are mainly responsible for retrieving and providing water for all family uses. These factors can affect overall productive economic growth for the country.
