Forty Miles West of Prosperity

Teacher and students in front of new school building.

We are working on the banks of the Zambezi River, in Munyanya Village, located forty miles west of Livingstone, the tourist capital of Zambia. In Munyanya, one will find the poor, marginalized, and down-trodden. When going to Munyanya Village, the road is brutal on all body parts. The life of a vehicle is short lived.

Poverty rules in Munyanya, but that is why we are living and working there. Thanks to our supporters, we have built the first-ever school building in the Munyanya Village, which serves the surrounding communities as well. The building is 10 by 7 meters (23’ x 33’). We used local labor in building the structure.
